If you're searching for XCMG equipment, you're probably not looking for a single answer. You might need to know what is a boom lift, or you might already own an excavator and need XCMG buckets & attachments. Maybe you're at the other end of the spectrum and evaluating XCMG mining trucks. These are different tools, different specs, and different buying processes. I manage purchasing for a mid-sized equipment dealer and rental yard. Per ANSI A92.20, the standard for mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), a boom lift is a type of MEWP with an elevating structure that positions a person beyond the base of the machine. Unlike a scissor lift, a boom lift extends outward and can often articulate over an obstacle. That makes it useful for roof work, exterior building maintenance, light pole repairs, tree work, and any job where a ladder is dangerous and scaffolding is too slow.
XCMG's current lineup includes telescopic boom lifts and articulating boom lifts. Telescopic booms give you straight horizontal reach. Articulating booms have hinge sections that reach over parapets or around structures. An XCMG mining truck is a different beast. These are rigid-frame haul trucks designed for high-volume mine and quarry cycles. They are not pickup trucks with larger beds, and they don't behave like articulated dump trucks on rough ground.
Use XCMG mining trucks when shuttle distances are long and you need steady payload movement. A wheel loader with a bucket can move material, but it becomes inefficient once the haul distance grows beyond a few hundred feet. At a certain point, a mining truck gives you a lower cost per ton.
